A (snowy) weekend in pictures
Unless you've been living under a rock (or somewhere with far more interesting weather) you will know that England has been under a few inches of the white stuff for the majority of the last week. It's still here, and shows no real signs of disappearing any time soon.
On Saturday, I took a little walk into town and snapped a few quick pics. It's amazing how the standard scenery that we walk past every day looks so different with a bit of frosting.
I picked up this Cath Kidston bag. I've admired and wanted for ages, and after payday hit, I knew that if it was still in the shop it had to be mine. There were 2 left. Me and another lady both grabbed them at the same time, phew. A bargain in the sale - never pay full price, never!
After I met Rory from work we stopped for a little lunch at a little noodle bar in town. A box full of yummy noodles and Chinese food is never a bad option.
A little walk with the Peggy-Bear today; it was a rather treacherous walk to the park. The majority of the pavements have been so compacted they are just sheets of ice. We had to walk in the middle of the road for most of the way.
Peggles had a lovely time running and jumping about in the snow with the other dogs, but started to feel the cold a little so we put on her coat and took her home.
Needless to say she has slept the rest of the day and is now nicely warmed up. We seem to just be eating non-stop, but that's acceptable in this weather, right?

Aww I love dogs in the snow, my parents dogs love it. They have long hair and end up with little snow boots where it gets caught up in their fur aww.

Eating non-stop is MOST DEFINITELY acceptable in this weather we've been having. I had to resort to baking today because I'd managed to empty my cupboards since the snow started. I say 'resorted' as if it was a horrible task - I do enjoy baking! Pets in the snow are always extra cute too, (: xx
ReplyDeleteWow, how beautiful! I live in the desert in California, so I don't see snow very often. Found you via the Meet n Greet Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteI love posts with animals!!
