I'm Still Here!

So, I've been away for far longer than I'd expected.
Unfortunately, life sometimes has to take over, and the fun stuff has to take a back seat. I've spent the past week in joggers, trainers and old t-shirts, so it's not even like a cheeky OOTD could have slipped in. I've looked like a stereotypical Chav with the added addition of brick dust in my hair.

I've been spending my days off (it's half term!) living in a building site, while we have a whole bunch of things done to the house. You may remember that a while ago, we had a major problem when a pipe burst in the bathroom, requiring a whole new bathroom.

We're now in the process of replacing the bathroom, and at the same time, we have decided to have a bit of extra work done in the house. Naturally, it's been messy, stressful and expensive, but almost a week in, we can now see the way in which we are heading. I've spent more money than I thought possible, but it will all be worth it in the end.

I'm back to school on Monday, so real life will begin to resume. Rory is still off for another week, while the work continues. Hopefully, by this time next week, the work will be done, and ready for me to decorate (I'm not going to lie- this is the part I'm most excited about!)

I will probably have to put off the decorating til the Easter Holidays (only 4 weeks to go!) as we're going to be super busy. I've been taking tons of photos so that I can have a great set of Before and After shots to keep (and share with you guys, of course!)
